Resources

PSCTas has a significant collection of resource material related to early childhood, program development, service management and governance which is current, relevant and easily accessible.

The collection includes books, journals and periodicals, vertical files on frequently requested topics, CDs, videos and DVDs. PSCTas also plans to add a range of prop boxes and other learning materials. All materials are available for loan to services and/or individuals. Many centres, family day care schemes, individual educators and students are already members of the Lady Gowrie Tasmania Library/Resource Centre. If you would like to join, simply phone the freecall Helpline.

An online catalogue of resources will soon be available which will enable you to browse the collection, then submit your request for a particular selection online.

We have compiled a range of low-cost/no-cost resources as a source of inspiration and fresh ideas. While not currently available for loan, these resources are on display in the Zara Gowrie Library/Resource Centre in Hobart. We plan to increase this collection and have sets of items available for loan or purchase in the near future.
